“Move Forward without Leaving Yourself Behind”™

Merry Christmas,

My parents used to have this corny plaque in the dining room of their wonderful country home.

It said: “Worry Is Like A Rocking Chair, Keeps You Busy But Doesn’t Get You Anywhere.” As many times as I read that saying, it was indeed months after my parents passed away that I totally realized the powerful truth in that corny, but, now sentimental plaque.

During the hustle and bustle of this Christmas season full of family gatherings, social commitments, unexpected illnesses, and constant pressure coming out of the woodwork, please, take a breath and remember how absolutely wonderful it is to share in these family gatherings, engage in these social commitments, to have been a part of a loved one’s life, and to be able to handle whatever pressure comes your way.

December, for many, is not only a month of celebration, but, a month of introspection. With this in mind, I encourage you to celebrate who YOU are, to take a moment to pat YOURSELF on the back because YOU have made a difference and to “Move Forward Without Leaving Yourself Behind.”

Christmas Hugs and Blessings,

Linda
