LOVE IS “IN THE AIR” INDEED AS WE CELEBRATE ANOTHER VALENTINE’S DAY.

However, is it not interesting how we can never ever wander beyond the reach of God’s LOVE. Many times we struggle to wrap our minds around that truth.

When we seek the LOVE of other people, we factor in the assumed requirement that we have to be perfect. But, divine math does not work the way human math does. When we add all of our flaws together and conclude that God cannot possibly LOVE us, His answer is that He LOVES us anyway. Since we encounter so few people who LOVE without limits, we are prone to embrace doubts about God’s LOVE for us.
Psalm 139 is a hymn to the omnipresence of God, but its observations are true for His LOVE, as well. Where God is LOVE IS:

“Where can I go from Your LOVE?
Or where can I flee from Your LOVE?
If I ascend into heaven, behold, Your LOVE is there.
If I make my bed in hell, behold Your LOVE is there.
If I take the wings of the morning,
And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,
Even there Your LOVE shall lead me,
And Your LOVE shall hold me.
If I say, ‘Surely the darkness shall fall on me,’
Even the night shall be light about me;
Indeed the darkness shall not hide me from your LOVE.”
